Standard bearing units

A standard bearing unit consists of a sealed insert bearing pre-mounted within a cast iron or pressed steel housing. The insert bearing is typically a deep groove ball bearing or a tapered roller bearing, selected based on the application's load requirements. The housing provides a secure enclosure for the bearing, protecting it from contaminants and ensuring proper alignment.

NKE Standard Bearing Units come in various configurations to suit different load capacities, shaft sizes, and mounting styles. The housing design allows for multiple mounting options, including foot mounted, flanged mounted, and take-up units. Deep groove ball bearings are ideal for applications with primarily radial loads, while tapered roller bearings offer superior performance for applications with combined radial and thrust loads. Sealed units incorporate integrated seals to protect the bearing from dust, dirt, and moisture, extending service life and reducing maintenance requirements.
